Hey Hotham community, we know you’re buzzing with Hot Buttered Whiskey excitement right now … and here’s a little back story for you.
We 3 (Sarah, Kym and Lisa), first met at The Genny circa 2000-2001.
We worked seasons together, slaved to hospo together, travelled overseas together - then fast forward to 2019 & we were all part of re-opening Jack Frost Bar + Restaurant Mt Hotham
and masterminding a cool cocktail menu
In one of many of her moments of genius, Kym pulled together her very own take on a
Hot Buttered Rum, and so the Hotham Hot Buttered Whiskey was born!
In 2020 we served it to you take-away (insert eye-roll), in 2021 it quickly became the top selling cocktail between all them pesky lockdowns.
Then we fast forward to August 2022, and Sarah and Lisa are operating Snake Gully Hut, serving that golden cup of deliciousness from the Snake Pit Bar, the best place to sit on the deck and enjoy Heavenly Valley!
Enjoy a snack and a drink at Snake Gully Hut until 4pm everyday of the ski season, then again from the bar at Jack Frost from 4pm - late.
And in 2023, we encourage you to "make it mid-week" Simply book a table and dine with us, to get 2 for the price of 1 from Monday to Friday.
