So, your getting set for a life-changing adventure, and we are sure there are many questions running through your mind. We have written the article below to answer some of the most frequently asked questions we hear from staff at this stage of the journey.
SEASONAL ACCOMMODATION
In partnership with Hotham Holidays, your seasonal accommodation is in shared living facilities across several locations at Mt Hotham.
Your allocation may be across the following properties;
IHP Ski Lodge Mt Hotham
RazorBack Apartments Mt Hotham
Other similar properties in the vicinity.
All Accommodation includes;
Bedrooms that accommodate no more than 6 people each, with most at 4 per room.
Gas, water and electricity supply and consumption is included in the amount you pay.
The facility will include basic kitchen appliances, crockery, glassware, and bunk beds, with 1 single bed per person.
Bedroom furniture, such as drawers and clothes storage units, is included at each property.
Shared lockable bathroom facilities. Shared "no cost" laundry facilities.
You are responsible for providing your own bedding and linen for a single mattress.
We encourage you not to bring highly valuable items to shared accommodation for the purpose of a reasonably comfortable living space, and security against accidental damage.
No contents insurance is provided by the property; you are encouraged to insure your own belongings.
COSTS
Upfront $1600 payment to secure your accommodation.
This payment is due after the agreement is signed. It is a bond against damages and cleaning upon vacating, as well as a contribution to rent upfront.
Fortnightly payments are deducted from your pay.

A PASS TO RIDE OR SKI MT HOTHAM
It's going to be OK if you don't have a pass to ski or ride yet.
First thing to do is check online to see if the EPIC AUSTRALIA PASS is still available. If you are about 6 months from the season start date, you can usually pay a deposit now and the rest later, less than that you will need to pay upfront to get the benefits of this pass locked in.
If that is not possible, then contact us to learn about a Merchant Pass; they are approximately the same cost as an EPIC PASS, but without the same benefits.

BRINGING YOUR CAR TO HOTHAM
We don't recommend bringing a car to Hotham, besides the logistics and cost in securing staff parking, there are no undercover locations for car parking - so deterioration and damage to your vehicle is highly likely.
However, in the event that you really want to bring your car for the season, you will need to contact ARV to apply for one of the limited car spaces in staff parking. Full costs and details are only available through them.
