Timesheet and Overtime Policy

Super Good Group (“the Company”) is required to keep accurate records for financial management and audit purposes.
The Company therefore may require employees to complete timesheets to keep records of all time worked.

The Company may require staff to work reasonable hours in excess of their ordinary hours (‘overtime’) in order to carry out specific projects, work during busy times or meet deadlines and the staff member shall, on reasonable notice, work such additional hours. Salaried employees will receive time off in lieu (‘TOIL’) for such additional hours when the Company specifically informs the employee that this will be the case, otherwise payment for such additional hours is included in the employee’s ordinary wage.
In so far as this policy imposes any obligations on the Company, those obligations are not contractual and do not give rise to any contractual rights. To the extent that this policy describes benefits and entitlements for employees, they are discretionary in nature and are also not intended to be contractual. The terms and conditions of employment that are intended to be contractual are set out in an employee’s written employment contract.

The Company may unilaterally introduce, vary, remove or replace this policy at any time.

TIMESHEETS
Employees are required to maintain accurate records and submit timesheets for each day worked, including the recording of all breaks. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure accurate timesheets are kept for all hours worked. Such timesheets must be provided in real time, using the following process;
- Enter shifts through the Square App.
- Square rostering system for staff to clock in and clock out. You clock into your shift on one of the provided iPads in the venue. You can clock in within five minutes of the start of your shift.
- To ensure you comply with our WHS policy, all required breaks are taken, clocked on/off and recorded accurately.
- Accurate time recording is expected and must be done at the beginning of your shift, at your break times and at the end of every shift.
- Your manager can help you adjust timesheets if your actual shift doesn’t align with your scheduled shift, but it is always your responsibility to record times at the time of your shift and ending.
- If you do not submit your time sheets in real time, your pay may not be correct.
If this happens, any extra hours owed to you may not be paid in the correct pay cycle.
- Continuous inaccurate or incomplete recording of timesheets costs the company in administration and may result in disciplinary action.

OVERTIME
In the event staff are required to work hours in excess of their ordinary hours, they must only do so where this is authorised by the Operations Manager prior to the commencement of overtime.
They should not work more overtime than is specifically authorised.
Overtime not authorised prior to the overtime being undertaken will not be paid and no time off in lieu of will be provided.

While it does not form part of any employee’s contract of employment, all employees are required to adhere to the policy and any failure to comply with any aspect of the policy may be treated as a disciplinary matter. Providing false or inaccurate information on timesheets, may result in disciplinary action up to and including the termination of your employment.
