Jack Frost had long been the centre of the Mt Hotham community,

built + operated by Peter Malkin, his friends, family + peers
still hold dear the many years of memories

the four walls have hosted.

 

WINTER 2019​

 

Owner operators, Lisa Hemingway + Sarah Curtin have a rich history in hospitality,
catering and event management.
They re-established and rebranded the much loved "Jack Frost" in 2019 with
an aim to pay homage to the fun + local loving

vibe that the venue has always been so iconically known for.

WINTER 2020

​

2020 has been shaped like no previous season at Mount Hotham,
or anywhere in the world.

 

The team at Jack Frost worked hard at making the most of the restrictions placed on our industry and launched a completely deliverable menu suitable

for dine in or takeaway.

​

Unfortunately during the August restrictions, it was decided 

that the kitchen needed to close for the winter.

 

They are however excited to be working on a 2021 strategy and

storing energy to return for next winter - bigger and better than ever before!

The Jack Frost philosophy is to focus on detail and flavour in dishes and cocktails.

Our entire menu will be available for takeaway or delivery - yes cocktails too!

Our drink menu and wine list remain a strong focus in development -

plus of course a friendly, welcoming and bustling bar atmosphere

complete with off snow entertainment, live music,

wine + cheese events + much more.
